June 4th, 2006 - Updated the Southern Cross models Page to include scans. Received a Yamato 1/60 Super VF1J in the mail this weekend from Grexx on MW. The head sculpt is awesome on this toy and its my favorite 1/60! Now all I need is the GBP armor.. Febuary 2006 - A busy month! January 2006 - On ebaY I bought some loose 1/144 scale Matchbox Destroids, I picked up an ebaY lot of about 30 items and kept : Shizuoka Plastic Model Kit Show, May 19th, 1984 My Anime insert; 2 Legioss buttons; and 7 issues of Animag. The rest I am selling off. Also picked up a Super Deformed VF1S Convertor and a variable VF1S Convertor; a case of Ohsato Collectible Erasers set ("Korekushon Keshigomu"): Storm Attacker SDF-1, Glaug, Regult, Defender, Spartan, and Tomahawk; and a Macross 7 Box Fire 1 LD set (w/ book) along with a Macross 7 Encore LD. December 2005 - I treated my self to a Takatoku 1/55 Max Type VF1J toy, and got a great deal on it. Thanks Chris! -Friday, November 25th, 2005 - recieved in the mail a Nichimo Macross 1/200 scale VF1J Fighter and a Album De Figuras Robotech Argentinian sticker book. -Monday, November 21st, 2005 - updated the Macross Posters page with more scans and my newest posters -Sunday, November 20th, 2005 - My birthday was this month and I treated myself to the following items: Televi-kun optional book, December 1982, 20 page coloring book; Televi-kun optional book, May 1983, 32 page booklet; Protoculture Addicts #1 first printing; Macross DYRL promo poster, Minmay with letter; CMS Macross Series 3 Max (Meltran), Minmay (clear hair), Sammy, Flower Girl, Focker cockpit, and Isamu; Macross Special Vol 2 LD; Bandai Macross Second Mission Gashapon full set (w/ heavy missile Regult); Eternity Sentinels Marriage of Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes hard cover graphic novel; Issues 1 - 3 of Prelude to the Shadow Chrnicles comic book; and a Robotech BGM collection 1 LP. On my birthday, I visited a local comic book retailer that I previously didn't know about, and I picked up 15 pristine issues of Zu Anime, Animedia, My Anime, and The Anime from 1983, 1984, and 1985. These issues had all their extras, posters, stickers, and pinups still included! I still need to go through and document each issue, but chief among them was My Anime, July 1984 with the Shizuoka Plastic Model Kit Show insert still inside! This show featured a display of prototype Southern Cross model kits many of which never went into production. This insert booklet captures full color images of these protoypes and for many kits these are the only known pictures. -Thursday, October 13th, 2005 - Last month I bought lots of new stuff. I picked up a Mari IIjima sings Lynn Minmay CD, the third Macross Animedia Idol Photo Pack from Gakken, First Live Fire bomber Macross 7 poster, Macross 7 Trash Chinese promo poster, Macross 7 Pyramid Cards, Macross 7 Fire Bomber Seventh Moon CD single, Macross 7 Fire Bomber My Friends CD single, and I picked up an old armless, stickerless Matchbox SDF-1 toy for parts. -Friday, September 2nd, 2005 - This week I picked up an Amada 1985 Macross Calender, a 7'x4' Macross VF1J patch, a Del Rey Novels Robotech Genesis Free Sample novel, a Robotech The Album promotional flyer, Harmony Gold Robotech The Movie promo 8x10 glossy, Macross 7 Trash Vol. 6, Macross DYRL Film comics 1 and 2 (my old one was in bad condition), and Megazone 2-3 Film Comics 1 and 2. -Tuesday, August 23rd, 2005 - Picked up a Masaiya PC Engine Macross 2036 video game. Also updated my Robotech action figure variants and signed figures. -Sunday, August 14th, 2005 - This week I received in the mail a loose Matchbox Veritech Fighter Super VF-1S (this verision was made in Japan and is a light grey color), a loose Matchbox 1/60 Excalibur MK VI (this one was made in Macau and has dark green molded shoulder joints), and a Toynami Robotech Remastered DVD #6 Exclusive Metallic Morpher Lancer. -Thursday, August 4th, 2005 - Picked up an ARII Macross DYRL 1/100 Dual Special Roy Focker VF1S (my other one was incomplete)and Max Jenius VF1A. -Monday, July 30th, 2005 - Just got back from a 2 week vacation in North Carolina. In the mail I had Columbia Records Macross Jam Trip LP, Columbia Records Macross Digital Trip LP, and an Amscan Robotech Centerpiece. -Tuesday, July 5th, 2005 - Received in the mail a loose 1/144 Matchbox Tactical Corps Gladiator, a loose 1/60 Matchbox Gladiator, and a pair of size 12 Daniel Shimazu Nike Dunks. These limited edition shoes were designed based on a Skull 001 theme with black, white, grey and black and feature a skull and crossbones on the tongue. -Tuesday, July 5th, 2005 - I just got back from Anime Expo 2005 and Robocon 20 in Anaheim and it was incredible. See Robotech.com pics here, here, and here. ?After corresponding for over a year, I finally got to meet my good friend Brian Schall (Khyronian) from Robotech Museum. Brian has pictures on his site here. On the first day, I picked up a 1992 Macross LD Promo poster, a Seika Note Misa Hayase poster, an ARII Lynn Minmay Concert door poster, and a Playstation 2 Macross DYRL promo poster. On the second day I picked up a Yamato 1/60 VT-1 Super Ostrich (MIB $60!), a Banpresto Perfect Transformation Strike VF-1S Hikaru, and two Mospeada Shitaki (pencil boards). From the Robotech.com booth a Robotech Mouse pad, a white Macross Saga polo shirt, a green New Generation polo shirt, a Lynn Minmei door poster, and a Macross SDF-1 Crewman cap. On the last day the awesome Tom Bateman from Harmony Gold graciously gave me two folders of promotional fliers and licensing materials for Robotech from the 1980's. I got the following action figures signed by Mike Reynolds - Dolza, Paul St. Peter - Zor Prime, Dan Woren - Roy Focker, Reba West - Lynn Minmei, Tony Oliver - Rick Hunter, Frank Catalano - Rand, and Melanie Mcqueen - Lisa Hayes. I already had Richard Epcar sign my Lunk figure at Kunicon Denver. I had all of these guests sign my Robotech Art 1 hardcover plus signatures from the following: Alexanda Kenworthy, Steve Kramer, Iona Morris, Greg Finley, Micheal Bradley, and Eddie Frierson. Ford Riley signed my Robocon 20 program and signed an edited page from his script. Tommy Yune gave me a print of some of his Veritech Battloids and signed it. Chest Masterbate (Chase Masterson) signed my Robocon 20 program along with Alan Letz, Scott Glasgow, and Tommy Yune. Micheal Bradley gave me his set list from Kunicon Denver and signed it along with Kristy Moser. Alan Letz gave me a Robotech II The Sentinels animation cel for my work on the Robotech Collectors Panel. -Thursday, June 23rd, 2005 - Picked up a Yamato 1/60 Quedlun-Rau and added pictures of my Mospeada Posters and my Southern Cross Posters -Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005 - Added a Robotech Art 1 hardcover with dust jacket -Tuesday, June 21st, 2005 - Got a 1/55 Bandai VF1A Brown re-issue Valkyrie -Monday, June 20th, 2005 - Added a Takatoku Macross Space Flight electronic hand-held LCD game, a Toynami Limited Edition Super Posable Blue Mettalic Alpha, a Toynami Masterpiece Collection Sue Graham Alpha Fighter, and a CMS Macross Secret Figure Hikaru Valkyrie Cockpit Figure. -Friday. June 17th, 2005 through Sunday, June 19th - I attended Kunicon Denver and presented a display of 836 Robotech items on behalf of RobotechMuseum.com!
